About
About Lime Petroleum
Lime Petroleum has established a balanced exploration and production portfolio on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Lime Petroleum is a fast-growing company that has been operating in the energy sector since 2012, focusing on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
We have built a strong portfolio of licenses comprising interests in the Brage and Yme producing fields, and in exploration and development assets focusing on infrastructure led-exploration, with both high impact prospects and high value prospects. The organisation has vast expertise in oil & gas exploration and production, both from Norway and internationally. We use state-of-the-art data and technology, and in addition to market seismic attributes, we are participating in developing new AI-based tools for seismic and well analysis. We use Rex’s frequency-based seismic attribute named “Rex Virtual Drilling” (RVD).
Lime Petroleum's strategy is to explore for, develop and produce hydrocarbons, primarily focused on oil, on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, in close cooperation with our operators and the authorities.
Owners
Lime Petroleum is currently 100% owned by Lime Petroleum Holding AS (“LPH”), an 80.14% indirect subsidiary of Rex International Holding Limited (Rex).
Rex is a multinational oil exploration and production (“E&P”) company listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited’s Mainboard. The Group has interests in exploration and production licences in Norway, Oman and Benin, and holds operatorship for the assets in Oman and Benin. The Group de-risks its portfolio of exploration and development assets using its proprietary liquid hydrocarbon indicator Rex Virtual Drilling technology, which can identify liquids in the sub-surface using seismic data. Since the Company’s listing in July 2013, the Group has achieved four offshore discoveries, one in Oman and three in Norway.
